The Role
The Bioassay Quality Control Associate 2 will be responsible for GMP release testing of products and cell lines. This position will have a focus on Molecular Biology analytics (including Sequencing, qPCR and electrophoresis) and protein analysis.
This is a 1st shift role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support bioassay testing for raw materials, drug substance and drug product, and cell lines.
  • Assist in writing/revising SOPs, protocols and reports.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to equipment, laboratory procedures and assay performance
  • Perform general laboratory support activities including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, logbook reviews, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
  • Work with the quality control management team to continuously improve the quality, compliance and efficiency of QC operations
  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • BS in relevant scientific discipline (Molecular Biology preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years Quality Control experience in a cGMP organization with a focus in Molecular Biology and DNA Sequencing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in a relevant scientific discipline (Molecular Biology preferred) with a
  • Ability to prepare reagents, pipette small volumes, work in a Biological Safety Cabinet
  • Experience with lab equipment/instruments such as Microplate Readers, Gel Imagers, Sequencers, and PCR systems
  • Experience with mammalian and microbial cell culture (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Familiarity with electronic databases (e.g. LIMS, SAP, LMS)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
