Our organization is one of the leading providers of behavioral healthcare in the NYC Metropolitan area. We are actively seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in an outpatient setting located in New Paltz NY. You would be working alongside a team of social workers, a collaborative psychiatrist, and a Psychiatric NP. Our organization offers a very flexible work schedule with the ability to work part remote and part on site. We also allow a 4 day 10 hour shift schedule or 5 day work week with no on call or weekends included. This is a full time permanent position with full benefits included. Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location: New Paltz NY

Salary: $140,000 to $160,000

Responsibilities for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner :

Seeing patients in outpatient clinic setting suffering from various mental health illnesses

Performing initial psychiatric evaluations for mostly adult populations (1 hour allotted)

Medication management for patients (30 minutes allotted)

Seeing roughly 12-15 patients per day in clinic or remote setting

Prescribing medication appropriately

Adhering to all company guidelines and safety protocols

Ordering lab work when necessary

Referring patients out when appropriate

Documenting all notes in EMR system

Requirements for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Active New York PMHNP license

Masters Degree from accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program

DEA license/NPI number

Good communication skills

Professional etiquette

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
