LCS is currently accepting resumes for the position of Projects Manager overseeing areas of Dutchess County and Ulster County NY.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Projects Manager is responsible for the management of general facility maintenance including the cleaning of professional and medical offices, interior and exterior window cleaning, floor work including strip and wax, buffing and burnishing, carpet cleaning, detail clean-up work, construction clean-up and duct cleaning.

COMPENSATION RANGE $65,000 TO $75,000

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) years in management position
  • Active Drivers license

DUTIES & RESPONISBILITIES:

  • Responsible for management of facility cleaning, ensuring LCS standards, policies and procedures are being implemented within the projects department
  • Manage and oversee the financial management of the department
  • Lead, inspire, and influence the organization, search for best practices, manage change, promote continuous improvement, and provide tools.
  • Manages supervisory level and ensures field work is being implemented
  • Ensures supervisory level follows and completes daily, weekly and monthly work orders for cleaning tasks
  • Reviews contract and project work regularly ensuring budgets are being met
  • Conducts walk throughs and actively participates in bids with the Director of Project services
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients by communicating and visiting often and by consistently conducting follow ups; Informs clients of new services
  • Responsible for the management of vehicle fleet and coordinates with appropriate parties to ensure vehicles are kept in good working condition
  • Completes work with excellent quality and within required timeline each day of work
  • Delegates and communicates daily with Supervisor to ensure proper understanding of work to be completed
  • Works closely with Supervisory level to develop and ensure training programs are being implemented consistently through the projects department
  • Works closely with Human Resources department for staffing and employee relation issues; provides feedback on training needs
  • Conduct weekly meeting to ensure quality assurance and compliance.

COMPETENCIES:

  • OSHA 10 certified
  • Floor care and carpet care expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of cleaning equipment and power wash
  • Water remediation
  • Mold remediation
  • Solid Knowledge of work place safety regulation and procedures
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work within deadlines
  • Ability to provide customer service when interacting with various customers throughout the work day

WORKING & PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:

Ability to lift forty (25) pounds occasionally. The position may involve standing for long periods of time and includes stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing stairs.
