Overview

As the Project Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions you will be responsible for supporting project management and other activities from various business units related to joint venture implementations, de novo (startups) and Mergers & Acquisitions integration projects.
Responsibilities

Manages strategic projects from the initiation phase through operation hand-off.

Collaborates with various project leaders to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

Manages and supports project documentation through the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs and other project documentation.

Schedules, facilitates, and documents project meetings on a regular basis to review project status.

Ensures project objectives and timelines are met and proper documentation is maintained throughout the duration of the project.

Proactively identifies, analyzes and escalated issues or risks to the project.

Establishes and maintains relationships with project stakeholders/sponsors and serve as a liaison between sponsors or partners.

Identifies opportunities to add structure and standardization to processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; five (5+) years of related experience can be used in lieu of degree.

Three (3+) years of experience in project management.

PMI-PMP certification.

Preferred

Healthcare industry experience, knowledge of M&A processes, and/or experience implementing/interfacing with electronic medical records software.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Knowledge of Smartsheet application.

Change Management Training or Certification.
