About the Position
POND is currently seeking a mid-level career Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our growing, award winning, Planning & GIS Group. We are looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will augment our strong team dynamic and embrace our client-first culture. The successful candidate must demonstrate a natural desire to take the initiative, act as a servant leader and demonstrate the initiative to exceed our clients’ expectations at every opportunity. This Project Manager/Scrum Master will act as a servant leader on multi-disciplined projects, coordinate and facilitate stand-ups, sprint plannings, lessons learned, and all related project management activities with project teams within the Federal/Department of Defense projects.
The Project Manager/Scrum Master assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. The individual must have demonstrated experience applying Project Management methods, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., Agile, lean, iterative, etc.) within a Project Lifecycle (e.g. phases and/or sprints).

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Microsoft Suite & Apps (e.g. Azure Dev Ops, Teams, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Project Management, Scrum Techniques and Artifacts (i.e. definition of done, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, RACI and related charts, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience managing timelines and budgets, problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies
  • Effective communication and collaboration on all organizational levels
  • Maximize productivity, speedily deliver value to customers, and ability to work with and lead a team
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience (preferred experience in A/E/C or other technical environment)
  • BS or MBA is Project Management, Business Management, or related discipline
  • Project Management Credentials/Certifications Preferred (e.g. Scrum Master, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.)
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality deliverables
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
