ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sales Programs :
Develops, implements and oversees all daily, weekly, monthly and annual Cannon/FNSP sales programs, rates, strategies and team efforts related, but not limited to, daily, seasonal and group sales, lodging, industry and international partnerships, and other programs as needed.
Manages a proactive ski ticket sales program that includes collateral material and staffing to conduct proactive and reactive sales, and develops programs that will increase group and other pre-sold business.
Manages a proactive recreation area ticket sales program that includes collateral material and staffing to conduct proactive and reactive sales, and develops programs that will increase group and other pre-sold business; develops retail (day and season), group and tour rates, as well as, special services to optimize attendance and profitability.
Manages a wide variety of relationships and partnerships within and outside of the ski and recreation industries in order to maximize on revenue generation for Cannon/FNSP.
Manages on- and off-site sales and image of Cannon/FNSP.
Works with the sales and marketing team to coordinate hosting of (and/or participation in) on- and off-site seminars, programs, and trade shows to promote Cannon/FNSP.
Works directly with and supervises the efforts of the Sales Manager and Season Pass and Sales Coordinator, and their impact on the ticket and pass sales teams and sales points.
Performs other duties as assigned and/or requested by the General Manager at Cannon/FNSP, in order to support Cannon/FNSP..
Marketing Programs :
Develops, implements and oversees all daily, weekly, monthly and annual Cannon/FNSP marketing, merchandising and advertising programs, and the strategies and team efforts related to marketing, advertising, merchandising, events and competition, guest services, on- and off-site promotions, website development and maintenance, daily reporting, media relations, and associations and partnerships.
Works closely with the Communications and Marketing Administrator for the Department.
Develops, implements, and manages a comprehensive marketing, imaging, and public relations campaign and budget for Cannon/FNSP.
Administers contracts with, and serves as liaison to, advertising agencies representing Cannon/FNSP.
Develops, designs, and supervises production and distribution of marketing and promotional pieces including but not limited to brochures, press releases, advertising copy and newsletters.
Responds to media queries and/or works with the contracted advertising and marketing firm in doing so to provide timely, accurate, and consistent information for public consumption.
Analyzes marketing and operational data pertaining to the ski and recreation industry, and other pertinent information as needed.
Researches trends and evaluates effectiveness of promotional programs in order to recommend modifications of current programs and procedures, and to prepare reports for dissemination among public and private entities.
Works directly with and supervises the efforts of the Guest Services and Events Manager, the guest services’ team, and any other marketing and events support team members, and their impact on the marketing, merchandising, events, promotional, and guest service aspects of the operation at Cannon/FNSP.
Performs other duties as assigned and/or requested by the General Manager at Cannon/FNSP, in order to support Cannon/FNSP.
