As a Program Manager - Adult Patients - Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR), you have to ability to use your education and advanced knowledge to provide hands-on assistance to patients and their families on the path to recovery while exercising initiative, discretion, and judgement. It requires the incumbent to consistently exercise discretion and judgment in applying their advanced knowledge. Under regular supervision of Clinical Advancement Program Manager, counsels and aids individuals and families requiring assistance dealing with substance use and misuse problems, by performing the following duties for adult patients within the Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR) Program. Position Logistics

  • 34-hour weekly work schedule (4-day work week)
  • Routinely 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM shifts Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday
  • Rotating schedule and some evenings and/or weekends may be required.


Education, Experience & Licensure Requirements

  • Master's degree in a human services type field required.
  • Experience providing substance use disorder treatment preferred.
  • Licensure as a LPC, LMSW, LISW, or LMFT and/or certification as an ADC or AADC are highly desired.


Position Overview

  • Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements.
  • Develops and maintains individualized treatment plans.
  • Provides case consultation and case management services to assure comprehensive quality care of a patient.
  • Manages and monitors patient progress, identifies patient needs, and maintains all clinical records through independent work as well as treatment team engagement for MAR patients.
  • Provides individual, family, group and crisis intervention counseling services.
  • Completes GPRA, all GPRA follow ups, and behavioral health screens for MAR patients.
  • Manages MAR provider schedules and overall coverage for prescribing appointments to ensure accessible patient care.
  • Manages oversight of GPRA completion by MAR staff, including review of timeliness of documentation.
  • Participates in regular clinical supervision.


Other Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, other service providers, staff, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
