The Program Manager is responsible for efficiently managing Hubbell programs supporting Digital Engineering initiatives and deliverables, including serving as the primary coordinator for project issues, creating and managing project timelines and deliverables, providing status to Hubbell’s executive team, coordinating cross-functional teams, and adhering to high communication and professional standards. Provide Program Management across Hubbell Segments to organize and execute the implementation of tools to support new products and systems solutions that meet stakeholder and segment requirements, while maintaining timeline and budget to reduce Hubbell’s risk. This position will work collaboratively with teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Operations, Software Developers, Sales, Quality Assurance, and other resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the implementation of the Enterprise PLM tool, including timelines, milestones, and budgets
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to the executive team and other stakeholders on project progress and status
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure the successful adoption of the PLM tool
  • Develops, modifies, and executes company processes that have company-wide effect.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure that the PLM tool is integrated seamlessly into existing processes and systems
  • Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Ensure that the PLM tool is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts as needed
  • Creates regular status reports summarizing the status of projects including financials, risks, mitigations, contingencies, and impact on revenue, and presents to the executive team.
  • Ensures adherence to process across multiple project initiatives with consistent execution across multiple projects, communication, and approach.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in program management or project management, with a focus on technology implementation projects
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills combined with technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
  • Skilled in project planning and project management.
  • Adaptable, results-oriented, effective at managing change, and proven team-building capabilities.
  • Skilled at managing conflict and effectively working through to quick resolution.
