Under the supervision of the Director of Business Development, the Program Director will be responsible for the overall supervision and daily operations of Pine Grove’s National Service Center. The Program Director is responsible for the administrative and clinical supervision of staff; assisting with referral development and marketing initiatives, and follows-up with staff and ancillary programs in the Forrest Health system where Pine Grove provides initial screenings with patients. Works directly with the Pine Grove Business Development team to set goals related to marketing all behavioral health services, including inpatient, outpatient, and specialty programs. Facilitates the direct observation of the staff of the National Service Center as needed to ensure the clinical integrity of assessment skills. Is knowledgeable of SalesForce software. Analyzes data related to assessments, referral sources, and admissions and drives team to reach goals and make appropriate improvements. May assist the treatment team when necessary and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patients served. Also possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Participates in clinical and administrative call for the National Service Center. Participates in all designated hospital meetings; coordinates monthly staff meetings. Completes any other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development.

  • Demonstrates the ability to clinically and administratively supervise staff within various roles.
  • Demonstrates the ability to complete a clinical interview and review information with patients, family members, providers and insurance carriers.
  • Demonstrates the willingness and ability to actively participate in helping achieve the objectives of the department; able to work independently as well as with a team
  • Demonstrates the ability to complete all required trainings and/or certifications and attend all required meetings.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be flexible with changing priorities; able to tolerate high stress situations / mental demands and make decisions that are ethically and legally sound.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand and adhere to all professional boundary standards set forth by the Administration of Pine Grove and Forrest Health.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with Business Development Department team members and all Pine Grove and Forrest Health staff.

Education: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related health care field from an accredited school is required.

Work Experience: Two years of full-time clinical experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Certification/License: Current license to practice in Mississippi and certification in area of expertise is required.
