Advertised Job Summary
The Big Data Health Science Center (BDHSC) at University of South Carolina (UofSC) Arnold School of Public Health invites applications from a dynamic, hardworking, skilled professional for the position of Program Coordinator II. This position will coordinate the operational logistics for training grants, collate and compile information for input into NIH systems, facilitate all training grant statistics of past and current trainees, manage the collection of publications, abstracts, annual reports, and will be responsible for the marketing and recruitment of trainees. Initiate, process, and track all trainee/fellowship appointments, and update evaluation metrics for the PI to meet the specific aims of research center.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree and 2 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Coordinate all logistics and planning activities for training grants as needed including budgets, training tables, biosketch, and management/mentoring plans. · Responsible for creating marketing materials, trainee recruitment process, material development and working with human resources compiling documents for offer letters. Process, track and coordinate trainee/fellowship appointments and works in conjunction with ASPH human resources, in USC systems w/ several USC offices, and in sponsor systems. Prepare and maintain trainee expense tracking sheets and prepare reports. Collate data information for input into NIH systems. Record keeping of trainee participation records and mentor lists. Trainee diversity reporting via sponsor portals. Tracking of current trainee statistics and past trainee. Tracking/Collection of publications, abstracts, and trainee status for annual progress reports. Support for NIH and other sponsor visit. Support delivery of all BDHSC training activities
