Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Program Administrator of Projects and Events (PA) in our Community Engagement Department. The Program Administrator is responsible for providing project management of events including resource fairs, staff events, and community support/awareness events as well as overseeing monthly external trainings offered to our community. This role is also responsible for the full administrative support to the Community Engagement department, leadership teams and serves as an administrative liaison between management levels within the organization. The PA of Projects and Events manages administrative processes, records, and projects under strict deadlines.


Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service for internal and external partners. This is a temporary, 20-hour week, hybrid position, working primarily remotely but coming into our headquarters office in Aurora, CO, and/or other offsite locations as needed. This position will participate in evening and weekend events and activities on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in the field
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience with supervision and/or project management
  • Requires practical judgment and analysis to resolve problems and the ability to make recommendations and perform their job with the utmost integrity, often independently

Preferred

  • Two (2) years of experience in Developmental Disabilities/Long Term services and supports
  • One or more years of budget management experience


Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee community presentations and attend external trainings offered to our community
  • Provide project management of various agency projects
  • Manage agency Volunteer Program
  • Act as a liaison or point of contact for internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Within established guidelines, assist with writing, editing and distribution of internal and external communication
  • Lead a variety of programs, events, and projects within the Community Engagement Department
  • Specialize in Community Engagement efforts through the ongoing advancement of supports, engagement opportunities, and resources for providers, staff, and individuals/families
  • Work closely with internal and external partners and provides outstanding customer service
  • Must be reliable, diplomatic, flexible, and demonstrate resiliency in stressful circumstances
