Anchorage Children's Home is seeking to fill the position of Program Administrator for offices located in Chipley and Marianna. The selected incumbent will lead a team of Case Managers responsible for serving, protecting, and strengthening, children, families, and communities. This position includes advanced professional work providing oversight and leadership to a team of professional case managers and support staff. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure the quality and efficiency of services to children and families served through analyzing, directing, training, and improving the work of assigned employees.

  • The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong depth of knowledge in the theories and practices of child protection, counseling, social work, investigation and family intervention.
  • Knowledge of professional ethics relating to child protection, physical and behavioral indicators of abuse or neglect, court procedures, and legal requirements is required.
  • Skill in direct observation of case managers' abilities in interacting appropriately with families, community resources, service providers and other professionals is a must.
  • The successful incumbent must have the ability to lead, train, and develop employees using strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, team building skills, management skills, and effective leadership skills.

Minimum Requirements: Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related human services field with 5 years direct experience working with children and families, or a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college and 6 years of direct experience working with children and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
