JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is an Automotive Manufacturer. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks centered around welding on a production line.
IMPORTANT: Your Resume MUST show your welding experience in detail, or you will not be selected for this position.
Wage:
$22.35/hr
30 day trial period at $24/hr! Get Reviewed for permanent hire after 30 days
SHIFT:
Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift ONLY
Job Requirements of a welder/fabricator:
-Ability to work well with others
- MUST have at least some experience with both MIG and TIG but especially TIG
- MUST have GOOD LONGEVITY in your work history (do you stay in your jobs for longer periods of a year or more?)
- Read/understand assembly instructions that include Blue Prints or schematics
-Authorization to work in the US
Overtime Availability
The majority of the time you will be working 5-6 days per week,
Notification will be posted regarding overtime as early as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Constructing base templates if necessary.
- Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
- Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
- Fabricating and constructing metal components.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Performing quality checks on completed products.
- Conforming with state and company safety regulations.
- Completing job reports.
