Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Process Technician in Portage, MI. Our client develops solutions for vehicles, industrial applications, clean air inside vehicles and the sustainable use of water. The Process Technician for systematic problem solving and troubleshooting of molding and assembly equipment using strong mechanical ability, effective communication skills, and demonstration of leadership skills.

Resin Tech 1 & 2: $17.25 - $20.75
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:
---Resin Tech 1:
- Start-up Process - Process Monitoring
- 1st Piece -Last Piece - Process Parameters
- Poka Yoke Overview/ Maps
---Resin Tech 2:
- Proper purging of machines
- Material change procedure
- Color feeder setup
- Somos Controllers purpose and operation
- Dryer purpose and operation
- Blender purpose and operation

Mold Setter 1 & 2: $20.5 - $25.25
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:
---Mold Setter 1:
- Restart of machines
- Insert changes
- Repair of water and hydraulic leaks
- Cleaning of tools
- Greasing leader pins
- Taking machine parameters and procedure for out of tolerance condition
-Basic robot movements (homing, startup, shutdown)
- Changing date codes
- Understand quality criteria for product
- EOAT Repair
---Mold Setter 2:
- Setting of molds
- Verify machine to setup
- Verifying water / Thermolator function
- Loading mold parameters
- Loading robot program
- Changing EOAT's and verify setup / part presence detection
- Magnetic Platens
- Spigots
-Routine Machine Startup
-Valve gate setup
-Hot runner / mold heat setup
-Basic water system and operation
- Hook up of cavity pressure transducers

Process Tech 1 $24.5 - $29.25
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:
---Process Tech 1:
- Setting up core sequencing
- Adjusting valve gate sequencing
- Adjusting process to parameters
- Adjusting robot positions
- Setting mold safe positions
- Decoupling a process
- Completion of Paulson training
---Process Tech 2:
- Setting up foam process
- Add part verification to robots
- set up cavity transducers
- Robot programming
- Completion of RJG systematic I

Must have prior experience in one of these roles to apply.

Education And Experience

Job Requirements of a Process Technician :

• High School diploma or equivalent preferably with vocational education training in skilled trades or other related discipline and 2-4 years of experience working with machine set-up and

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have the ability to conduct root cause analysis and present alternative solutions and make repairs and/or adjustments to correct
• Must have High School level education AND significant experience in the role
