Fenix Group SPC is seeking to hire a full-time Production Manager to manage manufacturing operations, including production, warehouse, material handling, EHS, and continuous improvement. This role will ensure all manufacturing processes have capacity, capability, continuity, and are performed in a timely, safe, and cost-efficient manner.

A Day in the Life of the Production Manager

You will spend your day completing a variety of tasks, including:

• Partnering with the Master Scheduler to optimize production schedules through order sequencing, optimal lot size, reliable production output, and to meet customer service targets.
• Ensuring production activities are maintained in the ERP system real time and transactions are completed timely.
• Partnering with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop and support a measurable preventative maintenance program.
• Establishing production KPIs and communicating the results of them.
• Providing specific input on how we change our operations to do things better and supporting/executing projects in these areas, including automation.
• Developing a staffing plan to optimize output and meet demand.
• Creating a culture of safety by ensuring production areas are managed to ensure workplace conditions are free of safety risks and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in developing the overall manufacturing strategy.
• Identifying and recommending updates to systems, processes, and procedures by collaborating with the team and our customers to ensure seamless processing.
• Supporting the high performance of team members through effective goal setting, coaching, providing timely performance feedback, and appraising job results.
• Setting clear and measurable expectations for the production and maintenance departments.
• Helping to establish and manage best practices within the facility including safety and housekeeping.

What You’ll Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC

• A Minimum of A High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of demonstrated supervisory experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN location.
• A passionate and positive “can do” attitude, willingness to learn, to teach, and to be a change agent within the company.
• An ability to work within a team environment and help the team become better.
