The Content Studio and Production team within the Media Products Content Design creates and maintains the ways Content brands and features reach more customers. We are looking for an experienced Production Design Technical Lead skilled in defining and innovating production design tools. You will work closely with the production team and other cross functional groups to gather requirements to create tools that power massive design scale.
Key Qualifications
- Hands on production design experience in a high volume fast-paced environment
- Expert Graphic Design and solid motion production experience
- Strong knowledge of digital design production processes and pipeline/workflow; ideally within a subscription services business model
- Direct experience with Video and broadcast design workflows
- Experience developing design automation solutions
- Experience with production design workflows including retouching, and localization
- Ability to specify efficient workflows and identify additional tools required
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Sketch
- Comfortable and confident working in a dynamic environment, partnering with teams to move through the unknown.
- Ability to learn new processes and technology quickly
- A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others. We are a very collaborative team
- Knowledgeable about Apple Services ecosystem

Description
You will work collaboratively with the wider production team leaders to identify tools or technological enhancements needed to create creative assets or other content components that accurately reflect design systems at massive scale. You will drive the requirements gathering process, present solutions to senior leadership as well as production design leads, and then refine solutions with technical teams and other cross functional teams before shipping these solutions. - Research and report on challenges and opportunities for the production design team presented by emerging technology and product features. - Drive the creation of tools that facilitate static and motion creative asset production. - Capture documentation, tutorials, live training material and other support resources to facilitate the education of the Content team about standard processesest practices, and tooling initiatives.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant production design case studies
- 7+ years of experience in production design
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator
- Proficiency in After Effects or Premier, Sketch, and Keynote

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,000 and $218,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
