Trusted Shops develops SaaS solutions for over 30 million users and 30.000 companies all over Europe. Our product suite includes products such as the trustmark, buyer protection and the experience feedback platform eTrusted. With our products we pursue the mission to enable trust between people and businesses in the digital age over the last 20 years.

Home of our product development is the Products & Engineering department, which consists of 14 cross-functional product teams across 4 product domains, working in an agile environment.

We are looking for a Product Owner in our eTrusted domain, who thrives in a creative, changing environment, is passionate about positively impacting the user experience, and who will advance our mission: to enable organizations of any size to utilize the full power of authentic experience feedback!

What is your goal

Together with around a dozen other Product Owners, you drive the value of your product, and the value of the entire product portfolio. You have a firm foundation on the product and provide vision, approach, and planned execution. You carry the ownership of the product in terms of quality and delivery as per the expectations you aligned with your peers and management.

Your approach is firmly rooted in customer-centricity. You seek out and amplify the voice of the customer, and leverage it as a driving factor in the product development. You understand that getting a win for the customer goes hand in hand with getting a win for the business, and continuously seek to satisfy both.

What are your responsibilities

In general, a Product Owner is responsible for delivering value to their users. Each Product Owner has the liberty to figure out which activities best help them do that. Typical deliverables are:

• Understanding the competitive landscape and your product’s position in it
• Creating a product vision with a defined set of iterations to reach your goals
• Evaluating ideas with and getting inspiration from your users
• Managing a prioritised backlog with clear description of requested functionality
• Precising a concept for tracking the product usage to display product KPIs
• Mapping stakeholders and ensuring stakeholder feedback and buy-in

  You possess a pronounced technical understanding for software products
• You use user research and insights to back up your product development
• You have gathered 2 or more years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner
• Your way of working is driven by collaboration and mutual respect
• You are focused, decisive and want to always drive the success of your product
• You are fully business fluent in English, to bring your team and its stakeholders to the same page. German is a plus
