Its experienced corps of Imagineers oversees the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects.

The Producer provides the leadership, organizational skills, and technical knowledge to produce all aspects of an attraction/experience from concept to opening, while also ensuring that the creative vision is realized. The producer must assimilate and prioritize balanced decision making to provide clarity of direction to the team and at all levels across WDI leadership. The Producer ensures that the work is advancing in accordance to prescribed intent, priorities are held and that the team dynamic is healthy and forward facing.

The Producer will report to the Portfolio Executive Producer.

You Will:

  • Have a deep understanding of budget, schedule, mitigation principles and team leadership dynamics.
  • Manage creative process and team from creation to completion.
  • Define scope of activities for all Creative Deliverables and the integration to advance the project across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop resource plans, estimates, and schedules for Creative Deliverables in collaboration with team and studio leadership.
  • Promote team building by developing proven relationships with multiple partners at multiple levels both internally and externally.
  • Ensure that a diverse set of voices are assembled as far as teambuilding and storytelling.

You Will Have:

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of scope, schedule and budget planning and mitigation.
  • Knowledge of creative process and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Research tools.
  • Ability to organize multiple layers of documentation.
  • Training in project management in arts, theater, or entertainment.
  • Knowledge of creative development activities including but not limited to story development, theatrical design requirements, architecture, and ride experiences.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage creative contracts.
  • Ability to identify mock-up requirements in collaboration with the Show Manager Lead.
  • Ability to assemble and lead a strong and diverse creative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer minimum 3 years of Disney experience or related relevant experience.
  • Previous film and theater production experience.
  • Beneficial for you to have led an entire project cycle, from concept to completion.
  • Willingness to travel both domestic and international as required.
  • Prior experience in project development in themed entertainment and attraction development.

Preferred Education

  • BA/BS in theater, film, design, or entertainment preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $112,012.00-$150,260.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
