Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for all facets of system support and troubleshooting for Procurement and Inventory Management including but not limited to SAP. This position manages databases critical to the budgeting, month end and SKU management processes. This position will also provide analytical, reporting, and process development functions in support of procurement initiatives. This position holds a key role in development, testing, implementation and administration of procurement systems.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- SAP Support. Act as an SME for technical, functional, process, and troubleshooting support with all Signet non-merchandise procurement and warehouse departments. Owner of SKU creation and maintenance for non-merchandise procurement departments as well as data integrity. Work with IT on troubleshooting as well as support of system updates and all upgrade testing.
- Identify departmental needs and opportunities for continued process improvements for procurement and warehouse departments. Design and implement needed solutions in support of departmental objectives. Provide ongoing administration of solutions. Provide various regular and ad-hoc reports out of SAP supporting Procurement activities, budgeting and month end processes.
- Develop and implement new or additional analytics and reporting to support inventory and replenishment levels to drive solution development for internal departments as well as stores. Create any ad-hoc reporting or analytics requested in support of leadership objectives.
- Provide training and job aids as relates to procurement systems and processes including but not limited to SAP.
- Build and maintain databases critical to the budgeting, month end and SKU management processes.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.
Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
Position Qualifications:
- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Experience with purchasing, warehouse, and/or office services systems design, implementation, and maintenance, preferably with SAP
- Years of Job-Related Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years
- Technical/Other Skills Required: Access database development and maintenance.
