About the job
As a Procurement Analyst, you will:
- Manage all aspects of the sourcing process for the organization and build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- Identifies, collects, and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to support procurement decisions.
- Monitors and reports performance of contractual agreements and / or projects.
- Builds value into business processes through the principles of supply management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Procures non-standard goods and services for SAS US as well as for international locations.- Designs, builds and maintains databases for monitoring and administration of contractual agreements such as minimum spend.
- Assists in monitoring and analyzing usage of corporate resources.
- Researches and analyzes effective sourcing strategies and develops relationships with best of breed suppliers.
- Monitors supplier performance and reports to stakeholders on compliance with quality and contractual criteria; escalates issues within supplier organization, and if necessary within SAS.
- Determines total costs for various business options; works with appropriate personnel to analyze alternatives from a financial perspective.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and phone skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply management, business administration, economics, marketing, accounting or related field. MBA, CPM, and CPCM preferred.
Typically requires five years of procurement experience to include experience with contract administration and supply management. Prior Software/SaaS licensing experience preferred but not required.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
