We are looking for an experienced Print Center Operator to join our team at Sabre Group. This position is second shift (2 p.m. - 10 p.m.). It is responsible for large-format printing and applied graphics, including pre-production design, fabrication of die-cut graphics, weeding, application, and quality control. Position Description:

The Print Center Operator 2nd Shift is responsible for large format printing and applied
graphics, including pre-production design, fabrication of die-cut graphics, weeding, application,
and quality control. This position receives and completes custom printing rush orders as
needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Custom Printing

  • Pre-press file includes reviewing for colors, DPI, bleed, sizing, and materials to ensure files are ready for printing.
  • Operate printing equipment to produce large format printing and applied graphics.
  • Laminate, die cut or apply graphics to finished products as needed.
  • Trim large format graphics as needed.
  • Weed and mask die-cut graphics as needed.
  • Package finished products for shipping as needed.
  • Manipulate colors in digital files using Adobe Illustrator to match samples for projects as needed.

Rush Orders

  • Receive rush orders from Project Managers and review project specifications and approved drawings.
  • Complete custom printing of rush orders received.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Prepare printing equipment for operation and perform maintenance as needed.
  • Clean Print Center daily to ensure safe production standards are met.
  • Organize Print Center area and supplies as needed to ensure safe production standards are met.

Administrative

  • Determine the usage of materials per drawings specification and enter them into EP for billing.
  • Competencies
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Flexi
  • Knowledge of large format printers, laminators, and plotters
  • Ability to perform hands-on graphics applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to develop and champion corrective ideas based on analysis findings
  • Highly motivated, strong work ethic
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule to meet project and client needs

Candidate Should Possess:

  • 2 years graphics related work experience preferred
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign preferred
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Flexi
  • Knowledge of large format printers, laminators, and plotters
  • Ability to perform hands-on graphics applications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to develop and champion corrective ideas based on analysis findings
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, strong work ethic
