Knichel Logistics is continuing to grow its Operations Team! We are in search of a driven, focused individual who understands our service-based company, looking to make their mark in the space of Third-Party Logistics!

We are a fast growing, woman-owned and operated, non-asset-based 3rd Party Logistics Provider headquartered in Gibsonia, PA.

The primary function of the Truckload Pricing Analyst role is to monitor truckload markets to competitively price and secure both spot and long-term awards. Additionally, the Truckload Pricing Analyst will work to secure long-term or special project OTR capacity to transport the shipments of Knichel Logistics' customers in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in Third-Party Logistics

Preferred:
A Bachelor’s Degree or related coursework in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management
1-3 years’ experience in a freight brokerage environment within the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) industry.
Professional certification related to Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management

• Must be proficient in the use and application of information technology to enhance productivity and facilitate operations management. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. This includes computer-based productivity software (i.e. MS Office Suite).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create, develop and maintain a core carrier base through phone calls, emails and sourcing opportunities
• Responsible for supporting the department’s carrier procurement initiatives as directed by department and company leadership.
• Responsible for approving and entering carrier packets into company’s operating system per department and company guidelines and procedures.
• Responsible for providing to the Director of Truckload timely and detailed information on weekly spot and bid pricing for win rates and successful or unsuccess procurement opportunities.
• Must monitor and keep organized the procurement box, and communicate within the team and to the IML pricing team for all matters necessary.
