Position Overview : The Preventative Maintenance Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment in the convenience store industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Basic troubleshooting.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Basic understanding of the sequence of operations and related equipment serviced.
• Understands basic functions of CO2 systems and associate components.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of systems hardware and chassis.
• Basic ability to diagnose and replace all fans, motors (except identified agitator motors), pumps for BIB, ProCon and Condensate.
• Basic Knowledge of Control Functions: fuses, voltages, devices/meters, software programming and overall nomenclature for each device.

Education and/or Experience:

• Two to four years related experience and/or training -or- equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Amount of Travel Involved : Up to 95%.
