Job description

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an ECE certification.

The pay rate is $18.47/hour with an additional hourly retention rate during the program year.

· Planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of children.

· Improving the readiness of children for school by developing their literacy, numeracy language, vocabulary and their problem solving abilities.

· Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate learning environment.

· Complete lesson plans utilizing individual goals, early learning standards and curriculum.

· Supporting the social and emotional development of children.

· Attend home visits & coordinate and attend Parent-Teacher Conference twice a year.

· Encouraging the involvement of the families of the children and supporting the relationships between children and their families

· Interacts with children during free play, gross motor, and other activities as children’s needs warrant.
