Your role: Strategy Intern (f/m/d) - Viessmann Business Area - Climate Solutions

What awaits you in our team

Together with an experienced team of senior strategy and energy professionals you'll work on high impact strategy and operations projects in close proximity to our Executive Board and in line with our ambitious growth and transformation path, to make Viessmann the leading international player for renewable, integrated climate solutions

• During each project you will gather and analyze relevant information, whether from inside our organization or through external research, synthesize and present them in an adequate context as well as formulate your hypothesis in collaboration with a senior team member
• You may take ownership of one or multiple topics that you will drive fully end-to-end (with regular coaching from senior colleagues) to develop an analysis (from research to forming hypothesis and recommendation) required directly for one of our Strategic Initiatives within Viessmann Climate Solution
• Some examples of the specific work may include building a financial model, performing research (e.g. on a selected business area), interviewing our Product experts to consolidate information, supporting our Strategy Team in preparing a presentation for the Executive Board or top leadership team in a structured and top-down way

Our internship program offers first-hand experience with corporate strategy, business as well as the energy and heating industry alongside the best experts. You'll receive training and coaching on how to better perform in multiple areas such as: structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex information, communicating effectively with all audiences etc. Given that our team also contains multiple former top management consultants (e.g., from McKinsey & Company), you can gain insights into this particular way of working.

Who you'll work with (and from where)

You will join the Strategy team for a 6 month internship program to work on top management topics in teams with our experienced Strategy experts:

You'll receive regular coaching and mentoring from your colleagues to help you develop, grow and shape your career goals. We are flexible as for the location of your internship - with our international team sitting across Allendorf (Germany), Berlin (Germany) and Warsaw (Poland) - remote work is an option and hybrid work is our reality!

Depending on your internship performance, a full time position could be an attractive start for your full time career in the Viessmann Group after finishing your studies.

Whom are we looking for?

Team players with an unprecedented willingness to succeed

• Undergrad (B.Sc.) or graduate student (M.Sc./M.A.) (M/F/D) of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or similar
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced (hybrid) team environment
• Capability to drive an independent workstream related to strategic topics towards actual execution (and thus impact) in the context of a broader team project
• Comfortable with quantitative thinking and analysis
• Curious and open-minded thinkers, always following the global developments in politics, economics, technology etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
