Executive opportunity for a Practice Administrator at a leading, award-winning Eye Care practice in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Salem, Oregon.
Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons (ECPS) was established in the Salem community in 1949 with a renowned reputation for delivering the highest quality patient care and serving generations of families throughout Oregon. Ten specialty physicians, including ophthalmology and optometry, offer a wide range of eye care services from routine vision exams to and including glaucoma, cataract surgery, and oculo-facial plastic surgery. ECPS also houses boutique optical shops (Optic49) within three of the four local clinics offering affordable eyewear that serves both function and fashion.
Key Responsibilities: (Not a complete job description)
The Practice Administrator will lead in daily clinical and operational management and oversight of the ophthalmology practice; establishing and maintaining clinical standards of care; and providing overall direction, strategic planning and coordination of the following essential functions: fiscal management encompassing all legal and government regulatory agencies, retirement plans, plant management, physician recruitment, insurance carriers, marketing, compliance and internal operations.
The Practice Administrator models and supports the facility mission at every level supporting and maintaining a culture of teamwork and respect. The Practice Administrator establishes innovative leadership in serving physicians, managers, staff, patients, and guests utilizing soft skills, active listening, critical thinking, and conflict resolution to bring about success and unity.
Position Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field
· Certified Public Accountant or fiscal accounting skills
· Five years healthcare administration experience
· Desirable: COE or relevant eye care industry specific experience
Technical Skills and Core Values Required:
· Expertise in working with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment with proven leadership skills and serving people at all levels.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Advanced interpersonal relationship skills and emotional intelligence
· Exercises sound judgment, time management and personal accountability
· Computer/practice management and EHR systems knowledge; Nextgen experience desired
