We're looking for a highly responsible, detail oriented individual to join our team at Bloomsburg Powersports. The successful candidate will be responsible including but not limited to the tasks listed below:
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by management.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer required service training.
- Assemble and prepare new powersports vehicles and equipment for display and new customer purchases in a timely manner
- Perform repairs and maintenance on company vehicles, including trucks, cars, and large equipment as needed
- Test ride and operate vehicles safely to determine abnormalities in machine performance
- Complete pre-delivery inspection on new vehicles, including: washing & detailing, checking fluids, setting electronic equipment on vehicles, and ensuring all vehicle accessories and pieces are included in delivery
- Maintaining a clean and neat work environment
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures, as defined by management.
- Able to effectively multi-task several job functions at once.
- Complete online and class room technician and general powersport vehicle training.
- Diagnose and repair two and four stroke engines.
- Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports vehicles
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install accessories on new units, and customer requests.
- Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturer’s products by using latest diagnostic equipment
- Stay with an approved time frame and communicate delays with the service advisor.
- Document and communicate any additional work that is needed.
- Perform all shipment unloading and receiving with Service & Parts Lead as 2nd review.
Applicant must have tools and have or willing to obtain PA State Vehicle Inspection Certification (willing to reimburse select applicants after employment for certification - one test only.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
