DEPARTMENT Post Harvest (Trimming, Bucking, Dry Cure)
REPORTS TO: Manager – Post Harvest

POSITION OVERVIEW
Post Harvest Tech will have some product knowledge of cannabis and be able to buck a minimum of 5 pounds per shift.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be coachable with the ability to learn new tasks quickly

· Ability to work well with a team while demonstrating a professional and respectful demeanor towards others

· Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment is a plus

· Ability to buck a minimum of 5 pounds per shift.

· Ability to stand or sit for more than 8 hours per day

· Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

· Strong attention to detail

· Must be motivated, focused, and have a strong work ethic

· Ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities

· Must have a California ID

· Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan

· Must be 21+ years of age

JOB DUTIES:

· Buck a minimum of 5 pounds per shift.

· Become familiar with the products of flower produced.

· Reviewing daily tasks to see what needs to be completed for the day.

· Checking in with department lead to get personal daily agenda

· Follow directions when assigned a task

· Conduct over all cleanliness when performing tasks and after tasks have been completed.

· Transport product between Post Harvest departments

· Bag up and weigh water leaf for all harvest batches

· Create Shipping Manifest before moving product to its proper location

· Burp product in Trim Room, Auto Trim room, and in the Bucking room

· Conduct and record moisture readings

· · Embrace Lean manufacturing concepts and tools

· · Quality control of product before and after the trim process

· · Continuous communication with management

· · Process and average of 1850 grams a day every month

· · Dispose of waste as directed by supervisor including tracking of waste

· · Remain compliant with bio-security measures in the building

· · Knowledge of the 5S System

· · Work with passion towards the industry, company, customers, co-workers, partners and investors

· · Maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude towards all work asked of you to complete

· · Must be able to perform other duties as instructed by supervisor

· · Meet goals and expectations set by department lead

· · Perform all tasks based on standard operating procedures

· · Continuous training and develop

· · Receive constructive feedback from department leads

· · Maintain workspace in an organized and above average clean fashion

Education and/or experience - One to two years of previous experience.

Language Skills – Ability to follow written directions and articulate questions in regard to accurate task performance and execution. Ability to log information and data collection in written form. Ability to create and submit reports regarding task progress and inventory numbers to the Nursery Grow Lead and Manager.

Required Technical/Other Skills/Licenses – Must have a California ID. Ability to pass DOJ Live Scan. Must be 21+ years of age.
