Job description
SUMMARY
The Post Doctoral Associate will be tasked with conducting experiments involving immunology response to vaccines and respiratory infection pathogenesis as part of the Rochester General Hospital Research Institute.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts research under mentorship of principal investigator in predominantly independent manner.
Pursues testing of hypotheses by developing experimental designs, managing and processing data and interpreting and preparing results for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Works closely with principal investigator and may develop independent protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed MD or PhD who is not self supporting of their own salary nor has their own research programs
Functions with modest direction from Research Scientist or Director
Strong analytical, computer, leadership and problem-solving skills.
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Licensed M.D. if applicable
