POSITION TITLE: Post Closing Technician
SALARY GRADE: 5
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
BRANCH / DEPT: Loan Administration
REPORTS TO: Post Closing Manager

PURPOSE: Responsible for review final loan documents for first mortgage collateral files as well as home equities.
DIMENSIONS: Main focus is on the real estate secured loan after the loan has been uploaded to the real estate servicing system
There is contact with branches, members, attorneys, and title insurance companies.
DUTIES: Review first mortgage collateral documents.
Complete a final audit of all collateral loan documents.
Review home equity loan packets.
Process daily mail.
Assist members, branch employees and closing agents with inquiries.
Complete additional duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS: Must be professional, friendly and courteous at all times and in all interactions with branch personnel, closing agents and co-workers.
Must possess an independent work ethic as well as excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a “team” player and exemplify a helpful attitude to provide assistance to others as needed.
Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
Must possess an aptitude for balance between accuracy and efficiency.
Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy set by management as well as the Credit Union’s technology use policy.
Must have accurate typing skills and the ability to concentrate on required duties.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
JOB ENVIRONMENT: Office setting with physical proximity to other employees.
Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Job requires a substantial amount of sitting.
Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information.
Use hands and fingers to press telephone key pad and lift telephone receiver.
Must be able to comprehend phone calls.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
