We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Living Wall Gardener and site coordinator to join our South Bay Maintenance team in helping make our cities a little greener.
Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Living Wall Gardener and site coordinator to join our South Bay Maintenance team in helping make our cities a little greener.
Responsibilities:
- Caring for vertical gardens and interior and exterior plants.
- Deadheading, functional and aesthetic pruning.
- Planting.
- Pest & disease management, including releasing beneficial insects.
- Report problems related to pests, diseases, and/or plant damage to managers.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance and troubleshooting of irrigation systems.
- Adhering to fertilizer and irrigation schedules, and modifying as needed.
- Weekly internal quality control checks and site walks.
- Order, track and coordinate replanting, and schedule improvements based on client and leadership priorities.
- Maintain site specific plant inventories.
- Effectively communicating and coordinating with co-workers using mobile technology.
- Pickup and deliver plants and supplies as needed.
- Off hours service ranging 10 - 20 hours per week (before 8 am or after 6 pm on weekdays, or anytime on weekends (weekends may be required to meet our client obligations.
Qualifications:
- Experience and passion in Landscape or Interiorscape.
- Knowledge of ornamental tropical interior plants and exterior landscape plants.
- Common pest identification.
- Irrigation system, operation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with nutrients and fertilizers for plants.
- Ability to work efficiently in both group and independent settings.
- Ability to interpret unknowns and make confident informed decisions.
- Energetic, Hardworking, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Degree in Horticulture is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate/maintain landscape hand tools and power equipment.
- Maintain a safe working area and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Must be willing to work on a ladder and mechanical lifts as needed per site.
