Job description
Lynden Door is looking to add a team member who enjoys keeping things clean and tidy. The ideal team member for our Janitorial staff would be one who enjoys the art of deep cleaning and organization. As a key part of our Plant Aesthetics team you will play a key part in keeping our environment clean and welcoming for our staff members and visitors.
HOURS: Monday-Friday (40 hrs.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunchrooms and common areas
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap products, paper towels, and etc.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty wastebaskets, trash and recycle containers
- Report any needs for repairs to supervisors
- Model professional decorum and mutual respect in all personal interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned
CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in the use of standard custodial equipment (vacuum, mop, etc.)
- Ability to preform cleaning duties specific to the needs of Lynden Door, Inc.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
Physical Elements:
- Must be able to climb, pull, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, and crouch
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 20-50lbs
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- starting wage $18.75
