PSS is currently hiring for a Pipe Fitter's Helper in Peoria, AZ!

* Per diem not available to out of town candidates

Located at N 43rd Ave and Dove Valley Rd

Monday through Saturday, 6:30am to 4:30pm

An ideal candidate for our Pipe Fitter's helper position will:

-Primarily assist the journeyman on all work activities

-Assist journeyman pipe fitters with measuring, cutting, threading, and welding pipes and fittings according to specifications.

-Gather tools and materials needed for pipe fitting work and keep work areas clean and organized.

-Load and unload pipes, fittings, and other materials from trucks and move them to the worksite.

-Hold or support pipes during installation or repair work.

-Assemble and disassemble scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed.

-Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents related to the project.

-Observe safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the pipe fitter or supervisor.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds

An ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and some experience in construction or industrial settings. You should also be physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and at heights. Good communication and teamwork skills are also important, as you will be working closely with other members of the pipe fitting team.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
