Seacoast Orthopedics is currently looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team. In this role the Physician Assistant performs examinations such as physical, sick visits, etc. and records findings. This includes performing emergent evaluations as necessary. Initiates appropriate diagnostic tests within the office settings as indicated, screen or evaluate the care-recipient's current health status, assesses findings of history, physical examination, and formulate a diagnosis prior to implementing a treatment regimen.

We have been a leader in sports medicine for more than 30 years, with practices located in Somersworth, Lee and Portsmouth. We are the official orthopedists and team physician group for the University of New Hampshire in recognition of our advanced training and ability to understand complex sports injuries.

Our doctors serve as the team physicians for many local sports teams, including high schools, club teams, and the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. The University of New Hampshire competes at the D1 level. They work in collaboration with our coaches, certified athletic trainers, and physical therapists to ensure a safe recovery for our athletes. Our sports medicine team physician assistants are expected to assist with sports medicine coverage throughout the year for our local high school teams and when needed The University of New Hampshire.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a physician assistant training program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).

Successful completion of the prescription privileges exam administered by the NH Board of Pharmacy for PA's

Current licensure by the New Hampshire Board of Registration of Medicine; Registration with DEA or ability to obtain.
