We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing physical therapy services to help patients regain mobility and reduce pain. The Physical Therapist will work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Physical Therapist Position Details:

• Type: Per Diem
• Facility type: Assisted living
• Location: Seattle
• Shift & Schedule: Flexible

Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations of patients with various physical conditions to assess functional limitations, impairments, and disabilities
• Develop treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Administer physical therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of their conditions and the benefits of physical therapy
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices in physical therapy
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff as needed

Requirements:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 18 months of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS certification
• Two (2) positive work references
• Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
