NORTHERN NEW MEXICO INTEGRATED SECURITY, LLC (N2MIS)
Northern New Mexico Integrated Security, located in beautiful northern New Mexico, provides a professional, highly trained protective force that safely secures special nuclear material, people and other critical assets for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
POSITION SUMMARY
COMPENSATION
$88,000.00 - $93,000 annually; Exempt, Full-time
QUALIFICATIONS
- S. Citizenship required.
- Work is performed onsite. Position is not remote.
- S. degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, science, kinesiology or other health related field from an accredited college.
- CPR/AED certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Physiologist certification
- National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) and/or Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator certification (TSAC-F)
- National Athletic Training Board certification.
- Licensed Athletic Trainer
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Functional Movement Systems Functional Movement Screen FMS Certified Level 1 and II certifications.
- Currently have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Department of Energy (DOE) Q level security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to convey information, draft correspondence, proofread text and prepare reports professionally and tactfully.
- Must possess intermediate-level computer skills to include proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of software.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work independently.
Desired Education and Experience (Considered a Plus):
- Experience administering a Physical Fitness program in a union environment.
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, science, kinesiology or other health related field from an accredited college.
- American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification (ACSM-CEP)
- Certified Athletic Trainer (AT-C)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- DOE, Department of Defense (DOD), law enforcement, fire department or other government agency physical fitness program experience
- Supervisor experience – two years of experience a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in an office setting and in the field in various conditions, including inclement weather. Physical demands of this position vary from situation to situation. Physical work demands are considered heavy exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must have visual acuity to make general observations of personnel, facilities or equipment. May be subject to hazards including loud noises, heavy fitness equipment and machines. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday
