This role requires an energetic, self-directed, deadline-oriented, individual who has exceptional communication skills, organizational skills and is able to maintain the high standards of service for The Best Philly Photobooth.

The ideal candidate would have good technical skills of both Windows and Apple based products.

A keen eye for modern clean design would be an asset in maintaining our high standards for aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

-Pick up photo booth equipment and materials from storage unit in Philadelphia and arrive 1.5 hours before start time to set up the booth. (set up takes about 45 minutes)

-Set up the equipment. Some of the equipment is heavy but definitely possible for one person to lift. Set up includes the booth itself (open-air kiosk-style, NOT the old school type with drapes), connecting all appropriate cables, the printer, a backdrop (usually, but not always), and props. You will have a wheeled cart to assist.

-During the event, you’ll be interacting with the guests and encouraging them to use the booth! Suggest poses, prop usage, etc.

-At the conclusion of the event (or scheduled time), you will then have to re-pack the booth, printer, backdrop, etc. and communicate when the equipment can be returned.

-You’ll also have to do some troubleshooting from time to time as well as - such as replace paper and ink ribbon. You're never left in the dark, though. There are many support options.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

-Ability to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday evenings.

-Must have basic computer knowledge - our booths are typically DSLR camera connected to an iPad, so while it is very easy, you must be comfortable with these items.

-Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

-Must be able to transport all the equipment in your own car. This is never a problem with a normal 4-door sedan.

-You must be reliable and trustworthy.

-Must be energetic and fun!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
