Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Inbound and Outbound calls
- Take inbound calls come from physician’s offices and from members
- Make outbound calls to providers
- Make outbound calls/faxes to retail pharmacies
- Follow up on new prescription requests and transfers
- Outbound calls to physician offices to follow up on needed clarifications
- Calls can be for new prescriptions, clarifications or general questions about prescription processing
- Work Hours: 8:30 – 5:00 Arizona (9:30 – 6:00 during DST)
This position is only for candidates that reside in Arizona and hold a pharmacy technician license in Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
- National Certification CPhT – PTCB or ExCPT
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
- A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Home Office : a dedicated secure home workspace, and high-speed internet (minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
- Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare
