WHO YOU ARE

You are a go-getter with a passion for pets. You enjoy working one-on-one with customers. You will be an expert on pet nutrition: quality, ingredients, and health impacts. You will drive business by consistently providing exceptional customer experience to all new and existing clients while also supporting the overall Shinto Pet Food shop. You should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our retail space is exceptionally profitable and well designed for our customer needs and market trends.

You have:

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Good organizational and multitasking abilities

· Problem-solving skills

· Experience innovating retail spaces is a plus

Must have clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities

*Passion for pets

*Set and achieve goals.

*Educate customers on proper pet nutrition and ingredients. Very easy

*Analyzing inventory to determine product needs and placing orders as needed.

*Maintain visual standards of the Shinto’s Pet Food shop, including restocking freezers as needed.

*Prepare the store for opening. Open and close the store.

Complete and oversee all product orders for retail stores

*Maintain and build productive long term relationships with loyal clients.

*Provide impeccable service and be a true ambassador of the Shinto’s brand.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and do other activities as requested. The employee will also be required to run a farmers market stall in San Mateo on Saturdays. The employee must be able to lift/or move up to 50 pounds. Standing for long periods of time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
