The Care Cooordinator is responsible for the success of daily operations at their specific Faithful Companion cremation facility location. They will create and foster a professional and effective staff that take pride in their work, and exceed clinic and family client expectations. They “act like an owner” at all times to ensure that day-to-day operations are handled to Faithful Companion standards of compassion, quality, honesty, integrity, and dignity.

The position includes planning, scheduling and dispatching of our Care Providers/Drivers along with facilitating the physical act of cremation. The role owns the relationship with our valued clinics and is instrumental in the successful coordination of the timely and accurate delivery of cremated remains. The key responsibilities of this function are to provide exceptional private and communal cremation for pets, provide support to our pet owners and veterinary clinic staff, be quick to respond to questions and troubleshooting concerns, and to proactively monitor the movement of drivers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Opening/Closing duties (pertaining to shift) to ensure the safety of staff, equipment, and facilities.
• Lead a team of Care Providers/drivers to provide exceptional daily service.
• Perform high quality, private cremation services (training provided).
• Responsible for the planning and scheduling of driver routes for pick-ups and returns to home and veterinary clinics.
• Act as the main point of contact for all driver-facing communication via phone, proprietary software, text, and email.
• Ability to serve multiple families at once while maintaining attention to detail, staying organized, and striving for a zero-error standard.
• Monitor vans throughout transit in order to effectively meet scheduled pick-ups and returns.
• Respond to customers and veterinary staff efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally.
• Assist in maintaining the crematory facility and company vehicles to a clean and presentable state.
• Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling, with assistance, of objects up to approximately 150 pounds.
• Occasional stooping, bending, pushing, pulling and carrying objects weighing up to approximately 75 pounds for short distances.
• Need a clean driving record.
• Other duties as assigned
• Shifts: 7am - 3pm, 12pm - 8pm, must be able to work weekends
• Pay Rate: $16 - 20 Per Hour, depending on experience
