The Personal Lines Leader position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Personal Lines Department and also generates
new business production through the sale of personal lines insurance products

General Responsibilities:

Directly supervises two or more employees in the Personal Lines Department; to include hiring, performance reviews and terminations.

Serves as the managing agent for some of the larger personal lines clients.

Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.

Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client's needs, including risk and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.

Correspond and maintain contact with State Agencies regarding new and renewal business.

Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages or their equivalent.

Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

High School diploma
-
Property & Casualty license
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Professional demeanor with a friendly outgoing personality

This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position
Preferred Qualifications:

4 year college degree

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position

Working knowledge of AMS360 and lmageRight
