Payroll / Certified Payroll Administrator
Environmental Construction, Inc. is a leading general engineering contractor operating since 1986. Environmental Construction, Inc. is engaged in building public infrastructure projects in Southern California. We are currently seeking a full-time Payroll / Certified Payroll Manager for our office in Woodland Hills, California. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
This role involves general day-to-day accounting, payroll, and supervisory tasks including:
- Coordination with field personnel in gathering weekly work hours
- Process and entry of payroll data and certified payroll reports
- Familiarity with field labor union requirements
- Process and entry of accounts receivables, payables, and job cost entries
- Process and maintain company insurance requirements, bonds, preliminary notices, and payment releases
- Process and maintain monthly logs – Vehicle, PO, Fuel, and Home Depot Reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in this role, ideally in the construction industry. Working knowledge with construction accounting software such as Viewpoint Vista or Spectrum is also a plus. The ideal candidate should also have an accounting background.

- Salary: Dependent on Experience
