We have over 2000 employees, use ADP Workforce Now, and have employees in every time zone across the United States.

The FT Payroll Clerk position will be housed in our Las Vegas Home Office. We need someone who loves Excel and looks for the best practice in every process they do.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for preparing the payroll for MRG/InMo and Canada on a bi-weekly basis, including all steps prior to inputting the information into the payroll system and the starting of a new cycle.
• Maintaining employee’s payroll information, new and existing i.e.: promotions, changing stores, etc.
• Managing the garnishment or child support for each employee, ensuring it automatically deducts.
• Maintains and imports the sales for all commission employees in the payroll system.
• Handle the importing, correcting, changing, or adding of any punches from the stores into ADP.
• Processing of terminated employees, preparing any early pay checks, or adjustments.
• Assigns pay cards and keeps pay card stock replenished in outer market stores.
• Process payments for the 401K deferrals, match, and 401K loan payments to our 401k retirement partner.
• Prepare any necessary reports after payroll has been completed; including Quarterly Report information needed for ADP or Quarterly Reports that ADP does not prepare on our behalf.
• Assists all employees with any questions they may have about payroll, hours, PTO, etc.
• Participate in Special Projects as required.
• To conduct him/herself in the spirit of the MRG mission, vision, core values and organizational health.
• Other duties may be assigned

What You Bring

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• 5+ years of Excel with heavy manipulation of data
• Associate degree or some college, helpful
• Understanding of basic accounting, helpful
• Knowledge of ADP, required
• Retail or multi-unit experience, a plus
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and general computer skills and ADVANCED Excel skills
• Ability to problem solve and multitask
• Must have satisfactory Drug Test and Criminal Background Check
