Overview
We are looking for a collaborative and highly numerate individual with a keen eye for detail to join our People & Culture team as Pay & Reward Analyst, reporting to the Global Head of Total Reward based in Milan or London. Your main responsibilities will include running the monthly payroll for Italy, benefits for EMEA and general administration.
Your Mission:
  • Manage payroll operations for Italy and support other regions and be back up for the team. This will include input, maintenance and reconciliation of records
  • Review and validate payroll results, identifying and explaining variances for final sign off
  • Validate time and attendance (Zucchetti) data flow, absence types, and liaise with managers within the business to make sure there is ongoing training
  • Continuously keep up to date with employment law and labour changes
  • Working with the key stakeholders to streamline payroll processes, automate systems, and reduce errors
  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams to ensure compliance
  • Account management and main point of contact to the external payroll provider
  • Manage local reward process (Pension, Clothing Allowance, Medical insurance, Ticket Restaurant, Employee discount, and more)
  • Research and recommend local benefits and rewards for the best offering
  • Maintain the global recognition and reward platform
  • Partner regularly with third-party providers to make sure data, declarations, and invoices are accurate
  • Partner with finance to make sure that all payroll and benefits items are reconciled on a monthly basis, as well as supporting the year end process
  • Manage the payroll and benefit queries and ensure a high level of service when replying to these queries
  • Liaise with authorities and unions when required
  • Assist with the annual pay and reward plan, and contribute input based on local knowledge to constantly improve the total reward strategy at Stella McCartney
  • Review existing HR/payroll process to identify potential process improvements and efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain internal process documentation
  • Accountability data in line with GDPR requirements
Your Talent:
  • You will have previous experience managing Italy payroll
  • You have experience and understanding of processing the Italian payroll
  • You are highly analytical and numerical with strong experience in data gathering and reconciliation
  • You have an excellent understanding of payroll legislation in Italy
  • You have previous experience with year-end processes and reporting
  • You are an approachable team member for day to day payroll and benefit queries
  • You are able to work to tight deadlines and ensure accuracy
  • You are a strong communicator who is confident building and managing relationships with our internal employees and external partners
Systems and Essentials
  • Fluent in English
  • Account reconciliations
  • Strong excel skills
  • Some knowledge of reward schemes across Europe
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
  • Other EMEA countries payroll experience preferred but not essential
  • Workday HRIS experience desire
