The shift I am requesting is 9AM-5:30PM. This position requires the candidate to spend most of their work day at TCH Pavilion for Women Centralized Grossing Laboratory. Surgical specimens will be examined and sectioned in the lab. This individual should be comfortable at the sight of blood. Also, a qualified candidate will be able to walk the campus of TCH Hospital to retrieve samples and deliver to the Centralized Grossing Laboratory, have a high school diploma or GED, and have a year of related work experience.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Knowledge of hospital laboratory operations, biological, infectious and chemical material handling and
warehouse/inventory operations.
2. Good communication skills, both oral and written; and the ability to operate glassware washers, distilled water.
