Position Overview

Creative Reading Coach LLC is a Charlotte, NC based learning center focused on providing elementary aged students exceptional literacy instruction through phonics and comprehension strategies. We’ve got new families joining our center and looking for the right teammate to help meet our client’s unique needs!

We are in search of a local Sales Coordinator to establish relationships with community stakeholders such as schools, daycares, and local kid organizations. This is a part - time role (20 hours per week).

The ideal candidate has availability during the work day Monday - Friday and works a hybrid schedule of in person and from home .This position is open to full time, regular employment within 6-12 months based upon performance and success within the company.

Creative Reading Coach LLC is the dream of a previous teacher in the public school system. Fed up with the countless hours, standardized testing, and still seeing no results... The vision of our learning center was born.
Instead of providing only explicit comprehension strategies, we make it our duty to watch readers grow at their pace by instructing our clients in all elements of reading that includes: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. It is our goal that we not only transform the lives of our young readers’, but help parents build their content knowledge as they advocate for their child in the classroom setting.

Students Don’t Learn Only Through Comprehension Strategies
Our learning center is a team that is responsible for addressing all areas of literacy instruction. There is no room to only see one side of the story. A struggling reader does not begin with poor comprehension, it is merely a symptom of a breakdown along the reading continuum.

Our Client’s Are Not Simply Test Results
Yes, we want our clients to perform well on their standardized tests. However, we know that a student is more than a mere number on a piece of paper.

If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It

We find strategies that work for our clients and capitalize on that success! Our clients benefit from repetition and targeted support.

Find The Problem and Deal With It
We don’t go around the world looking for “why” a child may not be reading. We simply assess, view results, and take action.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations
● Work closely with the CEO to understand the ideal client and targeted audience.
● Establish partnerships with local and national schools to distribute flyers and secure parent literacy nights.
● Establish partnerships with local daycares and afterschool organizations to distribute flyers and secure vending opportunities.
● Establish partnerships with local and national extracurricular organizations to distribute flyers and build reciprocal marketing opportunities between our organizations.
● Update, develop, and manage spreadsheets that house partnership information.
● Scout for in - person marketing opportunities based on our target audience.
● Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in organizations.
● Organize and ship flyers to destinations based upon requested amount.
● Travel to local organizations to introduce products and sign partnership agreements.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
