Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist

The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a BC/BE physician in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine with strong clinical skills for a hospitalist position. This is a part-time position with flexible FTE and offers a competitive salary, malpractice coverage, and benefits package. The position includes care of pediatric inpatients and newborns in a community hospital setting. Our group is comprised of excellent pediatric hospitalists providing care on an inpatient pediatric unit and in a busy newborn nursery. We provide back-up to the neonatologists for newborn deliveries; neonatology is present at all times. We also staff rare ED consults and consults by other services.
Newton-Wellesley Hospital is part of the Massachusetts General Brigham System and serves as a teaching site for Massachusetts General Hospital pediatric residents, Tufts medical students, and PA students from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The position includes supervision and education of residents and medical students, as well as career development in areas of medical education, quality improvement, and other scholarly endeavors.
