The Marbridge Foundation, located in Manchaca (South of Austin) is currently seeking part-time lifeguards for the summer months (June- August). This is a great opportunity to get involved with an amazing non-profit organization, put some extra money in your pocket, and have fun while doing it!

SCHEDULE:

* 20-30 hours a week; Schedule is flexible depending on candidate availability and need of organization*

• Saturday and Sunday: 2:00pm-8:00pm
• Monday- Thursday: 4:00pm- 8:00pm

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18+ years of age
• Current and valid ARC lifeguard certification
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience in working with individuals with cognitive disabilities a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safeguards and regulates conduct of pool patrons with enforcing pool policies
• Rescues patrons and performs appropriate follow-up procedures, including the proper use of equipment in the performance of first aid
• Assists in the proper maintenance and sanitary up keep of the pool and pool area
• Provides written reports on all accidents; including maintaining proper updated safety requirements
• Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work conditions or practice to supervisor
• Maintains communication and collaboration with resident trainers and other staff to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents
• Perform duties as assigned
