Job description
We are seeking a self-motivated Painter for our construction client in Green Bay. As a painter you are responsible for performing tasks involving the proper application of paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to residential and commercial structures. Working conditions include indoors and outdoors and being subject to variable weather conditions.
Painter Qualifications:
- Completion of coursework in skilled crafts or trades training or experience in field
- Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions
- Basic math skills (construction industry)
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction
- Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of situations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (stay on task)
- Ability to climb elevations and lift up to 100 lbs at times.
- Ability to work out-of-town schedule and stay overnight as needed
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record/insurable
Physical ability needed for Painter job requirements: walk, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift and/or move 25+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, ability to talk and hear, specific vision requirements (ability to see distance, up close, focus, and ability to see colors).
Painter Wage Details: $18.00 – $26.00/hour, based on experience.
