DoughCo Bagels is seeking energetic and dedicated employees to join our bagel production crew in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Although baking/bagel experience is a plus, we are happy to train the right employees. The most important qualifications for the role are an eagerness to learn, an ability to pick up new skills rapidly, and a general passion for bagels! As we are quickly expanding, the right employee will have the potential to take on a variety of leadership roles.

Responsibilities include:

-Measuring baking ingredients

-Mixing baking ingredients using commercial mixers

-Weighing and rolling bagels

-Boiling, seeding, and baking bagels

-Loading bagels into cars for transportation

-Cleaning kitchen facility after use

Employees will work three shifts/week. The shift times are as follows:

-Thursdays: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

-Saturdays: 12:00 am - 6:00 am

-Sundays: 12:00 am - 6:00 am

DoughCo Bagels is a newly launched artisan bagel kitchen inspired by Josh’s extended stays in the Midwest during undergraduate and graduate school where he could not find a quality bagel. After experimenting in the kitchen for over a year, with countless samples to family, friends, and anyone who would give feedback, Josh left his venture capital job and launched DoughCo to serve the New York Metro area. In the first few months of operation, DoughCo quickly expanded to over 1000 bagels/week through two farmers markets. We are now ready to add new members to our exciting team to help us expand further!

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
